Located in the heart of the Blackdown Hills (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) High Days and Hideaways comprises a trio of cosy, sumptuously furnished, self-catering cottages set in the grounds of Pipistrelle House, a former dairy farm.

With glorious views and tranquil surroundings - mainly fields, sheep and cows - our cottages provide the opportunity for a wonderfully relaxing break. Sleeping two, two and four guests, the accommodation is primarily aimed at couples wishing to get away from it all, but with the twin beds in the second bedroom of The Sett a family of four will be very comfortable.

Positioned just outside the village of Smeatharpe on the Devon/Somerset border, the towns of Honiton, Wellington and Taunton are all within easy reach. Nearby are two outstanding pubs and a well-stocked community shop all serving fabulous local produce. An ideal spot for walkers, it’s possible to head out in any direction right from the front door, and if being by the sea is more your idea of a holiday, the Jurassic Coast is a short drive away.
